Coastal Boxer Rescue

This portfolio piece showcases my work and capabilities on a commissioned project to design and develop a website using WordPress that allows the client to showcase Boxer breed dogs that need to be rescued, housed, and adopted by dog lovers who are willing to provide a loving and comfortable home. The site also captures, stores, and tracks these rescued Boxers in a customized database that can be easily updated by the client.

The project started with a detailed brief provided by the client, which included information on their organization, its mission, and its goals for the website. I conducted thorough research on other animal rescue websites to gain a better understanding of industry best practices and identify opportunities for differentiation.

Based on the research, I developed several design concepts that aligned with the client’s requirements and brand values. The designs were refined through multiple iterations and feedback sessions with the client to ensure they met their expectations.

Once the final design was approved, I used WordPress to develop a custom website that was responsive, user-friendly, and easily navigable. The website features a customized database that stores information on all rescued Boxers, including their name, age, gender, and medical history. The database allows for easy updating of Boxers’ profiles as they move through the rescue and adoption process.

The website also features a blog section that allows the client to share updates and stories about the Boxers and their journeys. The blog is easily accessible and can be updated by the client using the WordPress content management system.

Overall, this project demonstrates my ability to deliver a comprehensive design and development solution that meets the client’s requirements and utilizes the latest technology to provide an engaging and user-friendly experience. The use of WordPress and a customized database allows for efficient and cost-effective management of Boxers’ profiles and adoption processes, while also providing a high degree of flexibility and customization.
